The United States CBRN & HAZMAT Technician Association (USCHTA) unites the nation’s military CBRN technicians and public safety hazardous materials professionals within a single collaborative framework. As a sister organization to the United States Bomb Technician Association (USBTA), we are headquartered at the Bomb Disposal Technology & Training Center (BDTTC) in Indian Head, Maryland, operating alongside the USBTA under a shared infrastructure, partner network, and strategic mission. USCHTA embodies the next evolution in advancing responder safety and operational capability by fostering collaboration, technology exposure, interoperability, training, innovation, and wellness across the CBRN and HAZMAT professional community. We provide a national platform to bring together tribal, state, local, federal, and military agencies, ensuring strong technical integration and unified doctrine to address today’s rapidly evolving threat landscape.
